Five people were stabbed in a park in New York City following a dispute over illegal fireworks. Officials said that a 24-year-old man was setting off the fireworks in the Bronx when one of the shells landed near a group of four other men.
Those four men confronted the person who was lighting the fireworks. That man pulled out a knife and started stabbing them. The five men were all taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Police have not made any arrests. It is unclear if the 24-year-old intentionally shot the fireworks towards the group or if it accidentally landed near them.
