You may want to start leaving the house a little earlier to get to work on time because there is lots of construction going on ahead of NASCAR, coming to Chicago this summer.
Starting today you will see street closures in Grant Park for resurfacing. Part of Columbus Drive between Jackson and Balbo is closed until 6 p.m.
There will be other street closures before NASCAR which hits the Chi July 1-2.
