An early morning crash on Mike Padgett Hwy and Marvin Griffin Rd, has left on person dead.
The Richmond County Coroner's Office confirms at least one person died as a result of the crash. That person has been identified as 57 year old Barbara Hayes.
Barbara Hayes was the passenger of a car that crashed into a tractor trailer on Mike Padgett Highway and Marvin Griffin Road around 6 a.m.
The driver of the car was transported to AUMC. Their condition is not currently known.
Coroner Mike Bowen says, Hayes was not wearing a seat belt.
