Regional Leadership Groups Host 2019 State of the Region

In partnership with Leadership Augusta, Leaderships North Augusta, Aiken County, Burke, Jefferson County, Lincoln and McDuffie will host the 2019 State of the Region on Tuesday, March 12 at the Snelling Center. Doors open at 5:00 pm for cocktails and networking with the program beginning at 6:00 pm.

Regional leadership groups have joined together to celebrate and showcase Georgia’s agribusiness economy. The 2019 State of the Region is more than dinner. It’s an opportunity to learn how the how the ‘farm-to-table’ movement and agribusiness drive tourism, economic development, health and quality of life. Hear from keynote speaker Commissioner Gary Black, Georgia Department of Agriculture. Additional program guests include Sean Wight, Owner, Frog Hollow Restaurant; Bennish Brown, President/CEO, Augusta Convention & Visitors Bureau; Steven Richards, Agribusiness Extension Associate, Agribusiness Program Team, Beaufort County Cooperative Extension Office; and Kim Hines, Executive Director, Augusta Locally Grown. Come eat, learn, live what’s made in the CSRA!
