Nick Cordero's Wife Says She's Been 'Told To Say Goodbye' To The Star

Doctors working on Nick Cordero have suggested that his wife, Amanda Kloots, bid farewell to her husband, who has been battling COVID-19 related complications for months now. However, the fitness trainer still has hope that things will turn around for the Broadway star.

"I've been told a couple times that he won’t make it. I’ve been told to say goodbye," Kloots captioned a post on Wednesday (June 3) of Cordero kissing the couple's newborn son, Elvis. "I've been told it would take a miracle. Well, I have faith. Faith that is small as a mustard seed sometimes, but that is all you need sometimes," she explained to followers. "He’s still here and despite his odds gets slightly, slightly better every day. Where there is faith, there is hope. Where there is hope, there can be a miracle!"

Cordero went on to recall a lesson that she learned from her father, writing, "Like my dad has said since day one, every day he’s still with us is a miracle. I believe God is with us, with the doctors and with Nick."

In late May, Cordero faced a setback in his health, but Kloots admitted that despite the new lung infection, he was slowly recovering. The star has been hospitalized since March and had his leg amputated last month due to complications from the respiratory virus. He was placed in a medically-induced coma after surgery and woke up just weeks ago.
