James Fortune returns with his brand new single, and it's iHeartRadio's latest World Premiere.
On Thursday, April 25, the revered gospel singer released his latest song "For A Long Time." The uplifting power ballad is an authentic anthem that will resonate with Gospel and inspirational music lovers. “For A Long Time” is the lead single for the forthcoming homecoming album from his former group FIYA. The song arrives right before Fortune and FIYA's 20th anniversary concert at the Lighthouse Church in Houston.
2024 marks Fortune's 20th anniversary in the music business and he plans to celebrate throughout the year with a new album and a tour commemorating his latest milestone. Back in January, Fortune reunited with former members of his group, FIYA, to record a homecoming live album featuring a few new songs and several fan favorites from their past.
Since his music ministry’s 2004 debut with You Survived, James Fortune has gone on to record and release The Transformation (2007), Encore (2010), his 2012 albums Identity and Grace Gift, Live Through It (2014) and Dream Again (2019). I Believe (Live), Kingdom Music Vol. I and Live Through It are among the other albums within James Fortune and FIYA's extensive catalog.
