WWE legend turned actor Dave Bautista underwent a drastic body transformation for his latest role in The Killer's Game that's left him unrecognizable.

Bautista, 55, who was billed as weighing 290 lbs while wrestling under the moniker 'Batista' during his WWE in-ring career, recently appeared to be significantly slimmer on the red carpet of the Toronto Film Festival last week.

"What happened to Dave Bautista?" a fan wrote on X.

"Fellas… Dave Bautista. Idk.. what do you think?" another user posted.

The red carpet appearance came days after Bautista told entertainment reporter and wrestling podcaster Chris Van Vliet that he's been on an intense diet since wrapping up M. Night Shyamalan's Knock at the Cabin.

"I'm getting super trimmed, this is probably the lightest I've been since I was 19 years old," Bautista revealed while promoting The Killer's Game.

"The heaviest I've ever been is 370 lbs," he added. When I started [on WWE's main roster as] Deacon [Batista], I was about 325 lbs. Throughout most of my wrestling career I was about 290 lbs. Now I'm about 240 lbs.

"And I went a year and a half ago for Knock at the Cabin, I went 315 lbs. And that's when the nightmare started. Getting that weight off, which has been a challenge. Now I'm really particular about my diet."

Bautista was a two-time WWE Champion and four-time World Heavyweight Champion before concluding his full-time WWE career and transitioning to Hollywood, famously playing the role of Drax the Destroyer in the Guardians of the Galaxy Marvel series among others.
