Matthew Mays, a Columbia County school bus driver, was arrested on Wednesday 11/28 and is charged with two counts of Child Molestation, Aggravated Child Molestation and Sexual Battery Against a Child Under 16. The school district says the incident allegedly happened in 2016 and it was non-school related.
He was a school bus driver, delivering students to three schools, Cedar Ridge Elementary, Harlem Middle School and Harlem High School. The Columbia County School District has relieved Mathew Mays of his duties.
