A child was hit by a car after unloading off of a school bus this afternoon in Augusta. It occurred on Leslie Circle and Wells Drive. The Richmond County Sheriff's Office says the child has been transported to Augusta University Medical Center for observation and appears to have sustained some minor injuries.
