A neighbor of Andrya DeGhelde has been named a person of interest in connection with her murder. Investigators searched the home of Christopher Ashley Gibson. Gibson, however is currently behind bars in Columbia County for shoplifting charges after he allegedly stole items from the Wal-Mart in Grovetown in May.
Andrya DeGhelder was reported missing on July 25 and her body was found July 31 in a Columbia County dumpster.
Gibson was just arrested this week for that crime and is now awaiting trial for those charges.
