The 2018 Augusta Christmas Parade will be presented by Ronald McDonald House Charities of Augusta and the City of Augusta on Saturday, December 1st at 3 p.m. on Broad Street. Proceeds from the parade will benefit Ronald McDonald House Charities of Augusta. President & CEO of Ronald McDonald House Charities of Augusta, Betts Murdison, says "It's an honor to be a part of this beloved parade. It's a perfect fit, families are here to make holiday memories and at the same time are supporting our families at the House who?s holidays will be a different sort of memory this year, but every bit as precious."Following the parade there will be holiday activities on the Augusta Common including a visit from Santa Claus. The evening will end with a community sing at 6 pm and tree lighting and fireworks at 6:25pm.
